When you choose to use AI features, Ura may send your chat messages, typed text, emotional check-ins, panic or session entries, onboarding preferences, recent app context, and conversation history to OpenAI through Ura's secure backend for the sole purpose of generating AI responses and AI insights. This data is transmitted via encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections.
OpenAI acts as a data processor and may temporarily process your content to generate a response, in accordance with its privacy and security standards. Ura does not send AI feature content to OpenAI until you provide in-app consent.
Before using AI chat or AI-generated insights for the first time, users are presented with a clear notice explaining what data is transmitted, that it is sent to OpenAI through Ura's backend, the purpose of processing, and that consent is required before transmission.
If you decline or turn off AI data sharing, Ura blocks AI chat and AI insight requests. You may withdraw consent at any time in Settings or by deleting your account.
