These terms apply to Ura Panic (Ura), operated by Maison Bear in Gold Coast, Australia, including its apps and related website tools. By choosing to use Ura, you agree to these terms. The Privacy Policy explains data handling; agreement to these terms does not replace a separate permission required for Health, AI or clinical sharing.
Ura is intended for people aged 16 or older. If you cannot enter a binding agreement independently, obtain any parent or guardian permission required by the law where you live.
Ura provides general wellbeing tools, including guided Panic Flow, breathing and grounding, AI text and voice conversations, check-ins and patterns, Journey practices and a private Playbook, optional Health connections and gentle check-ins, Circles and a moderated Community Outpost. Website tools and the Recovery Library provide general information and self-guided exercises.
Core guided Panic Flow remains available without a Premium subscription. Paid access may include AI conversations, Journey and additional progress features, as described in the app before purchase. Availability depends on your platform, app version, permissions, subscription and participating provider. Do not assume that an optional feature or a feature shown on another device is available on your device.
AI can make mistakes, misunderstand context or give unsuitable suggestions. Check important information with a qualified professional. Stop an exercise that feels unsafe or uncomfortable. Do not rely on Ura to determine whether symptoms need medical attention.
Health patterns and gentle check-ins describe available records and can be incomplete or delayed. They do not diagnose anxiety, addiction or a medical event. Phone and Watch notifications are not continuous monitoring, and missing an invitation does not mean that nothing is wrong.
For my next session is a private preparation and reflection tool. You choose talking points and recorded entries to discuss with a professional, and can save your own takeaways afterwards. Optional AI wording and summaries are drafts for you to review, not a clinical assessment, treatment plan or record approved by your therapist. Creating a card does not book an appointment, notify a provider or send it to a Circle. Local storage and optional AI processing are explained in the Privacy Policy.
Circle members and care teams may not be available to respond. A support signal, message or booking is not a guarantee of immediate care. If you are in danger or experiencing an emergency, contact local emergency services. These statements do not exclude legal duties or consumer rights that cannot be excluded.
Use Ura lawfully and respectfully. Do not harass, exploit or threaten others; post illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, deceptive or abusive content; send spam; infringe another person's rights; bypass access controls; or attempt to access someone else's information. Only share personal information or content you have permission to share.
Outpost posts, comments, reactions and your stable public alias are visible to other signed-in Ura members. Posts may include an optional publication-time snapshot of your Journey planet and broad environment. Environment names can indirectly suggest a recovery pathway. The snapshot does not include exact checkpoints, progress percentage, streaks, onboarding answers, email or internal account identifiers. Ura validates recognised Journey identifiers but does not independently confirm your progress.
Outpost contributions have no automatic expiry so they can continue helping members. You can review and delete your submissions, including those in review, hidden or removed. Moderation or account deletion may also remove them. Do not post information you do not want other members to see or copy.
Ura may automatically reject or hold submissions for review, remove content and restrict accounts to enforce these rules. Use available report and block controls or contact support@uraapp.com. Reports and moderation records are not public. You can contact us if you believe a moderation decision was mistaken.
Personal Circles connect people you invite or choose to join. Clinic and Organisation Circles can provide resources, messaging, care-related information, events or bookings through participating providers. Visibility depends on membership, roles and sharing choices. Review those choices before sending or enabling access to sensitive information.
A participating clinic or organisation is responsible for the professional services, staff, resources and booking arrangements it provides. Separate provider terms may apply and should be made available by that provider. Ura supplies the platform; using a Circle does not itself establish a clinical relationship with Maison Bear or make Ura responsible for independently delivered professional advice. This does not limit Ura's own legal responsibilities.
Providers and administrators must use authorised access only for its intended purpose, respect client permissions, maintain appropriate staff access and comply with applicable confidentiality and recordkeeping duties. Do not access a client's information without the necessary authority. Revoking a sharing permission cannot recall copies already received by a provider.
You keep ownership of the content you submit. You give Ura the limited permission needed to store, process, moderate and deliver it to its intended recipients to provide the features you use. This is not permission to publish your private reflections or chats to the community or to sell your content. Retention and removal are explained in the Privacy Policy.
Keep your sign-in credentials secure, provide accurate account information and tell us if you suspect unauthorised access. Do not impersonate another person or misrepresent professional qualifications or your authority to operate a Circle.
Device permissions remain under your control. You are responsible for reviewing information before you intentionally publish or send it. We remain responsible for obligations the law places on us.
The purchase screen and your payment confirmation show the price, currency, billing period, included access and any trial or introductory offer. Subscriptions renew according to the purchase provider's terms unless cancelled before its renewal deadline. A trial may convert to a paid subscription as disclosed when you accept it.
Manage or cancel a subscription through the store or provider where you purchased it. Uninstalling Ura or deleting your Ura account does not cancel billing. Cancelling normally stops the next renewal; the applicable purchase terms determine access for the remaining paid period. Price changes follow applicable notice and store requirements.
Purchases may be processed by Apple, Google or an available web payment provider. Promotions, gifts or redemption offers have the eligibility, duration and other conditions displayed with that offer. Do not assume an offer applies to every account or platform.
You have rights under applicable consumer law, including Australian Consumer Law where it applies, that these terms cannot exclude, restrict or modify. Available remedies may include a refund, cancellation, repeat performance or compensation depending on the problem and applicable law.
For a store purchase, use the store's refund process and contact support@uraapp.com if you need help. For a purchase made directly from Ura, contact us. Payment-provider procedures and any change-of-mind refund conditions do not remove statutory rights.
If you purchased lifetime access, the offer and representations made when you bought it define that entitlement. These updated terms do not retrospectively reduce those rights to a single app version or remove refund rights. Contact support with your purchase details if you need confirmation of your access.
We may update Ura for security, reliability, compatibility or product development. If a planned change materially reduces paid access, we will provide reasonable advance notice where practicable and explain available options, including any cancellation or remedy required by law. Urgent security or legal changes may need to take effect sooner.
We will not use an update to avoid an existing purchase commitment or mandatory consumer protection. If a paid service is discontinued, applicable consumer rights and any remedies arising from the purchase continue to apply.
AI replies, insights and generated speech use OpenAI through Ura's backend with the required consent. Relevant messages, context, preferences and saved memories may be processed. Memory is on after AI consent unless previously disabled; you can pause it, review or remove details and choose whether to enable account sync.
Connecting Apple Health does not automatically authorise sharing Health summaries with AI. Health-summary sharing, gentle check-ins and clinical sharing have their own controls. On iPhone, patterns use permitted sleep and step records. The optional Watch feature can also use permitted heart-rate, heart-rate-variability and workout records locally. Screen Time selections do not give Ura access to what you type or view in another app.
These features depend on permissions, available records and operating-system delivery. They may be unavailable or delayed. The Privacy Policy explains data flows, voice processing, local Watch learning and how to withdraw permissions. Declining optional AI processing does not stop you using non-AI guided support.
Ura's software, branding, design and other materials belong to Maison Bear or the relevant licensors. Your use of Ura gives you permission to use those materials as part of the service, not to resell them or claim ownership. Do not copy, redistribute, modify or reverse-engineer protected materials except with permission or where applicable law allows it. Your own submitted content remains yours.
Ura does not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free AI or a particular wellbeing outcome. Your circumstances, device, connectivity and choices affect your experience. Use professional judgement and appropriate care when acting on information from the service.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability, a guarantee or a remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. In particular, references to general wellbeing, AI limitations or third-party services do not remove your rights under Australian Consumer Law or other mandatory consumer law.
We may restrict content or access where reasonably necessary to address a material breach, unlawful activity, fraud, misuse or a safety/security risk. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and allow you to contact support to resolve or challenge the decision. We may act immediately where delay would create a risk or where required by law. Statutory rights for paid services remain available.
You can request account deletion in Settings or through the website deletion instructions. Clinic and Organisation owners must transfer or close their managed Circles first; contact support if you cannot complete this. Account deletion, separate subscription cancellation and clearing independent Watch learning are different actions. The Privacy Policy explains retention and recipients' independently held records.
The latest version and date appear on this page. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes where practicable and obtain acceptance where required. Changes do not retrospectively remove accrued rights or purchase commitments. If you do not accept a material change, contact us about stopping use and any cancellation or remedy available to you.
